The Alin Coen Band is a German singer-songwriter group that was founded in May 2007 and is named after Alin Coen, the lead singer of the group.

Born in Hamburg in 1982, lead singer Alin Coen grew up bilingual (German and Spanish) and in 2003 went to Weimar to study environmental engineering at the Bauhaus University Weimar, where she graduated. There she met the musicians with whom she eventually formed the band in May 2007.
