From March 14, 2026, Colombian artist Oscar Murillo will transform Potsdam's MINSK into a vibrant space for exchange and community.

In his project "Collective Osmosis," contemporary painting meets Impressionism: Murillo places his works in dialogue with those of Claude Monet and invites visitors to become actively involved in the artistic process.
The title refers to the scientific principle of osmosis—a symbol for the museum's opening up, enabling exchange between inside and outside, city and world. The exhibition marks the first collaboration between MINSK and the Museum Barberini, where Murillo's works will also be on display.
"Oscar Murillo breaks down boundaries and opens up new forms of community building. With Claude Monet as an inspiring collaborator, he expands his frame of reference and approaches the idea of a universal human community," says Anna Schneider, Director of MINSK.
The exhibition is curated by Anna Schneider and Daniel Milnes, with support from Luisa Bachmann.
About Murillo: Born in Colombia in 1986, Oscar Murillo works with painting, participatory projects, video, sound, and installations. His works reflect collectivity, social structures, and the material presence of art. His work *The Flooded Garden* (inspired by Monet's Giverny series) was last exhibited at Tate Modern in 2024.
