New project days and exhibition at the Youth Museum

“What does protest mean to you?”, “What changes do you think are urgently needed?”, “What causes do you champion?”. These key questions are the focus of the new exhibition at the Jugend Museum.

In an interactive and inspiring environment, visitors have the opportunity to explore historical and contemporary forms of protest. The exhibition features various spaces where young people can discuss issues with one another, exchange views and get creative. Whether in the print workshop, the photography studio or the sound studio – there are no limits to creativity.

The exhibition invites visitors to engage with their own views and concerns and to reflect on the significance of protest in today’s society. Together, young people can develop new perspectives and raise their voices for the issues that are close to their hearts.

The new exhibition and the youth conference marked the conclusion of the five-year pilot project “Discover History – Act now!”, which formed part of the “Demokratie Leben!” funding programme.
