Here you'll find kids in thick snow suits darting over the ice, older couples doing well-practised laps, as well as lots of young people gliding around the ice. In the winter, the Eislaufstadion Neukölln (Neukölln Ice Skating Stadium) is a popular meeting place for local residents both old and new. The music here is mainly top 40 hits, but sometimes they play unexpected and very rousing Latino music as well. Young and old alike show off their skating skills on two open-air ice rinks.
