Tom’s Bar

Old but gold

The legendary and long-established gay club has reinvented itself again and again over the years and is now closed. However, a new club is set to move in.

Tom's Bar is world famous, because this bar in the heart of the Schöneberg neighbourhood is a permanent meeting place for gay men from all over the world throughout the year, not just during large events such as Folsom Europe in September. Throughout the year, you can find both Berliners and international visitors here, who are looking for a particular rough, manly atmosphere - and find it in Tom's. The bar's motto, "for successful cruising", puts it in a nutshell, and it's no exaggeration. While Tom's used to be known as a pure leather bar, today everyone is welcome – though there are still plenty of men in leather and skin outfits. Videos are played in the bar area, where there's a table football table for gamers as well, and there's also a backroom. People of all ages and from all walks of life get together here, especially when the night is getting on.

The long nights of dancing with a wide range of music played by famous Berlin DJs and no cover charge make Tom’s Bar very popular indeed.
