The public playground at the historic RIAS building provides entertainment for children of all ages. A large wooden ship stands in the centre of the site and kids always compete boisterously to capture it. The water pump invites kids to hold water fights and build sandcastles. And kids' imaginations are fired by the jumping tracks and swings. For the sporty, there's table tennis and a small skateboard area as well as several adjacent, public football pitches.
