or the first night of its Closing Week, the Julia Stoschek Foundation presents “If You Can Reach My Heart You Can Keep It (Berlin Film & Video Archives 2011—2026),” a retrospective of Matt Lambert's film and video works created in Berlin over the past fifteen years. Bringing together an extensive selection of moving-image works, the program serves as both an archive of unsung queer icons and communities, tracing expressions of radical intimacy across his practice. The evening culminates in a live-scored film by Trace Polly, followed by DJ sets by TT, Bleach, and special guests.

Julia Stoschek Collection
Born in Los Angeles and having started his practice in London and then NYC, Matt Lambert is a Berlin-based filmmaker, photographer, creative director, and curator whose work centers around queer history and contemporary identity. He has shown work at and collaborated with Tribecca, Cannes, SXSW, Tate Britain, Munch Museum, British Film Institute, NRW Forum, Palais Galliera, HAU, Schaubühne, Berliner Ensemble and has an ongoing series called SISSY SMUT at Berlin’s Volksbühne. His most recent publication, If You Can Reach My Heart, You Can Keep It is the artist's sixth book, published by Baron.
