featuring selected works by Franz Mayer
ALL IS NOW condenses the present moment within a space and makes it tangible.
The installation features works by the artist Caroline Beil combined with pieces by the furniture maker Franz Mayer that she has transformed.
As an actress, presenter and singer, Caroline Beil has been working with the ‘now’ for decades. This experience shapes her visual art. Each work invites the viewer to pause and feel.
The works make clear, powerful statements: black-and-white stripes symbolise the duality of the past and the future, creating rhythm and tension. In between, the word shines out – the present moment – clear, direct and impossible to overlook.
The resin used in the pieces preserves the moment and makes it permanently visible. Glossy surfaces draw viewers into the moment and create a sense of presence.
The installation combines art and interior design to create a walk-in ‘Third Space’ in the heart of the bustling city. The specially designed furniture and light installations interpret the theme ‘ALL IS NOW’ and invite visitors to rediscover a sense of presence, tranquillity and being in the here and now.
