The American band Clarion will bring its unique blend of shoegaze, post-punk, and Japanese-inspired rock to the stage in 2026. The trio formed in late 2023 in the DIY scene of East Los Angeles, where Anthony Sanchez, Saya Oliva, and Joseph initially wrote songs together and, shortly thereafter, recorded their debut EP, “Clarion,” in just three days.

With a spirit of experimentation, they created an atmospheric, youthful sound: layered guitars, a variety of amplifiers, and a wide range of soundscapes produce a truly immersive effect. The song “Hello Juliet,” in particular, became a surprise hit after a fan video went viral on TikTok and has now amassed more than 55 million streams.

Thematically, *Clarion* explores loss, regret, relationships, and the desire for a fresh start. In 2025, the band signed with Broke Records and toured with acts such as Violent Vira, Rehash, Mexican Slum Rats, and Mind’s Eye. For 2026, in addition to their own headlining tour, they’re scheduled to perform as the opening act for shoegaze legends Panchiko.

Despite their growing success, the DIY culture remains an important part of the band. Clarion continues to organize their own shows and charity concerts and, between tours, repeatedly returns to the rehearsal spaces where their distinctive sound was born.

With their new EP “Blue Fairy,” Clarion is now opening the next chapter—amid dreamy walls of guitar, driving rhythms, and a unique blend of melancholy and energy.
