Expressive Renaissance Music at NoonSong
The Spanish Renaissance composer Tomás Luis de Victoria is considered the most expressive master of the Roman School: rich in sound, dramatic, and at the same time interpretive of the text. Even though we particularly enjoy singing this composer’s works in NoonSong, his compositions remain largely unknown.

NoonSong—what is it?
Every Saturday at noon, locals, visitors to Berlin, music fans, and architecture enthusiasts gather for NoonSong. It is both a concert and a worship service, inspired by the Anglican Evensong. Eight professional singers from the vocal ensemble sirventes berlin perform choral music under the direction of Stefan Schuck. The repertoire ranges from Renaissance music to contemporary compositions.
