BO in Dialogue – The Berlin Nature Conservation Foundation Presents... Flower Conservation

The Flora Conservation Coordination Office of the Berlin Nature Conservation Foundation is dedicated to protecting approximately 280 of these species. But how are these species protected, and what measures are necessary to ensure they remain part of our urban nature in the future?

At the information booth, visitors will gain insights into the work of plant conservation in Berlin. The booth will showcase current species conservation projects, the surveying and monitoring of rare plant populations, and measures to promote and reintroduce endangered species. In addition, the importance of species-rich habitats and the role of native wild plants in the city’s biodiversity will be highlighted.

The plant conservation team at the Berlin Nature Conservation Foundation (Plant Conservation Coordination Office – Berlin Nature Conservation Foundation) will be available for discussions and expert exchanges and will provide insight into the diverse tasks involved in botanical species conservation.
