Open-Air Butoh Performance
The performance begins at sunset. As daylight fades, spaces emerge from shadows and artificial light. The changing light becomes part of the staging. In a world of increasing instability and contradictory realities, the piece asks how a body can endure when certainties crumble.
“Sehpurpur” draws on the physical practice of Butoh to create a space between perception and dissolution. Gravity, breath, silence, and precise control shape the body and its movement.
What remains when seeing begins in the dark?
