Utopian, practical poetry about everyday life, for everyday life—by and with TONI KATER
TONI KATER has already performed twice at KunstHofKöpenick, stripping everything down to the essentials. “I want to live!” Her songs settled over the courtyard like a soothing blanket, grounding everyone who was there. Everyone reflected and felt, sensed, and experienced being and the moment. And it was a good feeling. Without pomp, without frills, without anything pushing itself into the foreground—except for the moment itself.
And if anyone should now think that these were sad mornings, they’re mistaken! It was beautiful—simply beautiful. And funny at times, too, because in between there were little fables to read aloud about all sorts of creatures and…about pasta.
And that’s why we’re delighted to welcome her for the third time—with vocals, guitar, and piano—at the KunstHofKöpenick!
After all, she’s already got another album in tow—one that wasn’t around yet the last time she performed in 2023. It’s called JEMALS, and it’s now her eighth studio album.
Uncategorizable and Consistent—A morning full of poetry, unusual imagery, and humor. We’re looking forward to
