How do financial flows influence political decisions? The discussion event “Power Without a Mandate: The Money Trail” addresses this question. Together with Fabio De Masi, politician and author of the book “Money, Power, Crime,” as well as Prof. Dr. Heribert Hirte of Transparency International Germany and other experts from the business and media sectors, the event will focus on topics such as money laundering, corruption, lobbying, and international financial networks.

Using current examples and experiences from politics and business, the event will examine how financial interests and structures of influence operate and what consequences they may have for transparency, democratic processes, and the rule of law.

Following the panel discussion, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and engage in conversation with the guests.
