Help us design an exhibition magazine!

In this free vacation workshop, children embark on a journey through time: Together, they discover the history of the famous Shepheard’s Hotel in Cairo and draw inspiration from the hotel’s sources and traditions to create their own artistic works.

From 1841 through the 1950s, the Shepheard’s Hotel was one of Cairo’s most famous hotels. It attracted travelers from all over the world and was a major gathering place of its time.

Using various creative methods such as drawing, photography, short texts, poems, or comics, the children engage with the historical objects and tell their own stories.

What interests you most? What would you tell and show other children? What should they try to figure out? Write, draw, and create collages for a magazine that will be on display in the new exhibition starting in June 2027.
