Highlights of the family festival at the most beautiful beach resort in northern Berlin include a concert by the Bulgarian Cartrader, one of Berlin’s most entertaining and musically diverse musicians; pulsating beats and melodic saxophone and bass clarinet sounds from Junk-E-Cat on the “Harry” fire department stage; swing, rock, and pop in the vineyard, a beach dance floor, and the big kids’ festival.
In addition, a traveling dance hall invites you to a humorous circus show featuring tightrope acts and tap dancing.
Two suitcases you’ll fall in love with will unveil juggling and trapeze acts on the beach.
The children’s festival invites kids and parents to enjoy fun games, arts-and-crafts activities, and experiments.
It is organized in close collaboration with Kinderhaus Berlin-Mark-Brandenburg e.V. and other partners in Lichtenberg.
Almost everything revolves around the theme “What’s floating in Lake Orankesee?” At several booths, children and parents can make lanterns based on this theme and light them up on the way home or during the Lake Orankesee lantern parade in the evening.
A diver and a sailor with a boat will play the accordion to conjure up a brisk sea breeze over Lake Orankesee.
A magical captain will conjure up the underwater world on the beach, and a world champion in body painting will transform guests of all ages into water creatures.
A big raffle awaits its winners with many exciting prizes. Tickets cost 1 euro, and every second ticket wins.
Volleyball and rugby fans, table tennis players, and soccer enthusiasts will, of course, also find plenty to enjoy.
Balls, nets, paddles, and balls are all provided; they’re just waiting for their players.
The Lake Festival is designed not only to invite you to listen and watch, but also to sing along and dance along.
Our motto: Everyone can sing, and singing together is the best way to do it.
That’s why the OrankeChor invites all visitors to sing along to well-known rock and pop songs from the past decades.
This year’s theme: Love.
