The focus will be on the Seriesly Berlin Conference (September 15–16) at Fotografiska Berlin and the Seriesly Berlin Premieres, featuring new series productions from around the world. For the first time, the CineStar at the KulturBrauerei will also be among the festival venues. The program is rounded out by the Seriesly Berlin Pitches, where series projects in various stages of development will be presented.
Several new program highlights are being introduced this year: “Stories at Risk” establishes a European think tank on creative freedom and democratic culture. The “Beyond the East-West Co-Production Myth” initiative explores new perspectives on European series co-productions, while Seriesly Creators focuses on creator-driven formats, platforms, and new models of serial storytelling.
In addition to industry events, the festival offers numerous opportunities to experience international series premieres and engage in conversation with filmmakers. Seriesly Berlin sees itself as a meeting place for everyone interested in the future of series, creative storytelling, and exchange within the international film and television industry.
