BodySpace Magazine #01 launch with talk, collective reading & gathering on making, unmaking, and remaking home.

BodySpace Magazine is launching its first issue, *home(un)making*, at Acker Stadt Palast—a formerly collectively occupied building—with a panel discussion, a collective reading, and a gathering.

Fifteen contributors from a three-semester co-research group explore how bodies create, unlearn, and rebuild home—navigating memory, repression, and arrival. Through drawings, photographs, poetic fragments, recipes, maps, and a card game, the contributions tell stories of the post-reunification era in East Berlin, of gender-affirming experiences, migration, lesbian urban practices, and more-than-human friendships, as well as recipes that cross borders.

Edited by Dr. Mariana Morais, the magazine emerged from a teaching-research practice that employs sensory methods to make embodied everyday experiences visible.
