Between Exhaustion and Renewal: Reflections on the State of Our Democracy
At the same time, political forces that fundamentally challenge this democratic framework are gaining support.
But why is this happening? Has democracy itself run its course, or do people feel overwhelmed by political conflicts, polarization, and social change? Have traditional institutions lost their appeal because they can no longer provide convincing answers? Or do we perceive the loss of trust as more severe than it actually is?
Together with the panelists, we will explore the state of democracy—whether it needs to change to regain trust, or whether a stronger return to its foundational principles is required.
