How can you effectively articulate your artistic practice and clearly describe research projects or future works?

This intensive workshop explores techniques for fleshing out ideas and communicating them to readers outside the dance community.

It is aimed at dance professionals who have conceived artistic projects and have already had experience (positive or negative) with grant applications.

In the three-hour workshop, participants will discuss how to translate choreographic thinking and embodied knowledge into compelling written proposals suitable for public arts funding in Germany. This includes defining clear structures and key points for project descriptions. Developing skills to write compelling grant proposals.

The focus is on writing meaningful short descriptions, a key component of successful applications.
