The Lineup: Who’s on stage?
Sukini
After four years, the time has finally come: Sukini, known in the hip-hop scene for years as Sookee, is back with her second album, delivering music for kids that adults are welcome to enjoy too. After nearly 20 years as a queer-feminist rapper, Sukini now extends another invitation to everyone—to grow alongside the music, and at the same time engage with the themes and discussions that Sukini addresses and explores in her lyrics, sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly.
Richard’s Kids’ Music Store
Richard’s Kids’ Music Store has become a staple in the realm of family-friendly music. His songs are about the chaotic daily life of a family, little whims, and funny discoveries. Music with groove and heart for kids and their grown-ups, imaginative lyrics that invite questions and further imagination. Organic rhythms, real instruments—no Smurfy bubblegum pop! Richard’s catchy tunes have long been a staple on popular children’s channels and various CD compilations, and the music video for the hit “P.O.M.M.E.S.” has racked up over 250,000 total views
DJ Bämjamin
DJ Bämjamin will be with you throughout the day. When Bämjamin spins at the turntables, uncontrollable dance moves are inevitable. Ever since he caught the hip-hop bug in the ’80s, he’s been into rap, graffiti, breakdancing, and vinyl. Driven by his love for hip-hop, he inevitably explores other music styles featuring funky beats, groovy soul, or drum ’n’ bass, and has already opened for the hottest reggae artists, such as Gentleman, Martin Jondo, Capleton, Red Rat, Burning Spear, and many more.
