The program brings together the poignant vocal poetry of Fedor Nadenenko (1902–1963), whose romantic works are deeply rooted in Ukraine, and Antin Rudnytskyj (1902–1975), whose life oscillated between Ukraine, Germany (where he was a student of Schoenberg in Berlin), and the United States.

Their dialogue bridges eras and countries—as in the cycle *Chinese Flute* (in German): a delicate interplay between tradition and modernity.

Two Ukrainian voices, one universal language of music.

  • Nataliia Pyzhianova – Mezzo-soprano
  • Yury Ilinov – Piano
