Valeria Michel is a singer who blends Latin American musical traditions with jazz. Born in Ecuador to a Cuban family, she developed a musical style at an early age that is shaped by diverse cultural influences.

She studied in the jazz program at the University of Miami, where she earned a master’s degree. With more than 27 years of international stage experience, she has performed at numerous festivals and in jazz clubs worldwide.
Her performances include concerts at Latin jazz festivals in Alaçatı and Stuttgart, as well as engagements in cities such as Tokyo, Beijing, Lisbon, Singapore, Philadelphia, New York City, and Berlin.
Her debut CD was nominated for three Latin Grammy Awards. In addition, she has collaborated with various international jazz musicians, including Vince Mendoza, Nestor Torres, Diego Urcola, and Troy Roberts.
