About Hošek Contemporary

Site-specific installations, performances and experimental sound art: this is what the gallery, founded by Petr Hošek in 2016, specialises in. Since March 2018, the former cargo ship “Heimatland” has primarily served as an exhibition space and a venue for artists in residence. The ship is permanently moored in the historic harbour.

In spring and summer, visitors can look forward to weekly improvised and experimental music installations by both, international and local artists. From 22 to 31 May, for example, the exhibition “house is a body, body is a home” will be on display.
