Davide Incorvaia has performed on stage across Europe on numerous occasions with international jazz musicians such as George Gruntz, Randy Brecker, Franco Ambrosetti, Bob Mintzer, and Dee Dee Bridgewater.

In his quartet, the Italian jazz pianist performs with three outstanding musicians from the European jazz scene—Giacomo Tagliavia on double bass, Ivars Arutyunyan on drums, and Gianni Gagliardi on saxophone—a repertoire of original compositions that Incorvaia has written over the past five years.

The Davide Incorvaia Continuum Quartet views its music as a continuous, unceasing flow that knows no clear divisions between the various musical elements. The name “Continuum” reflects precisely this approach: the idea that music cannot be forced into rigid categories. For the quartet, this means that melody, harmony, rhythm, and improvisation do not exist as separate entities, but as inseparable parts of a larger whole that is in a state of constant flux.

The music of the Davide Incorvaia Continuum Quartet is a dialogue between tradition and modernity, in which the roots of classic jazz are palpable, while the freedom of improvisation and the rhythmic complexity of contemporary music shape the soundscape. It is music that speaks to both the mind and the heart and, in its complexity and dynamism, offers an ever-changing experience.
