Closing Weekend
To mark the conclusion of the exhibitions Archipelago and Eyes to Fly With, C/O Berlin invites you to a special closing weekend. Experience two days filled with encounters, conversations, and music with the artists Dörte Eißfeldt and Graciela Iturbide.

C/O Berlin im Amerika Haus
Saturday is dedicated entirely to Dörte Eißfeldt and her solo institutional exhibition Archipelago. Rather than merely depicting reality, photography in her work becomes a medium of transformation, and seeing becomes an act of recognition and questioning of one’s own perception.
In the afternoon, express tours offer concise insights into Eißfeldt’s poetic work. During an artist talk, Inka Schube and Sonia Voss will speak with the artist about her work and how image creation and image viewing are connected.
Starting at 8:00 PM, the doors open to everyone with free admission. The exhibition spaces remain open until midnight. Come celebrate with us! Starting at 9:00 PM, Dörte Eißfeldt’s son Jan Delay, aka DJ Flashdance, will be spinning records.
On Sunday morning, photography icon Graciela Iturbide will be a guest at the neighboring delphi LUX. Eyes to Fly With, her first major retrospective in Berlin, offers a deep insight into a body of work that has shaped the image of Mexico and its people for over five decades. In an artist talk with Alejandro León Cannock, she will share personal insights into her creative process and her powerful visual language. This will be followed by a book signing in the foyer of C/O Berlin.
