Women’s World 7 - An Evening of Feminist Art Performance

Women’s World is a gathering of performance artists whose statements are personal reflections on feminism, women’s rights, and gender.

The gatherings are a protest against conservative views and patriarchal social structures. They are an expression of freedom, breaking taboos, pushing boundaries, and a willingness to experiment.

Curator:

Alexandra Holownia is a visual and performance artist as well as an art and film critic. Among other things, she has curated the following visual art exhibitions: Imagine at Kulturbahnhof Kassel, Germany, 1999; Relic of Life at the Cork Gallery Avery Fisher Hall, New York, USA, 1999; One Year Art Project Art Tour in Berlin Friedrichshain, Germany, 2002; and In Between at the University of Graz, Austria, 2003.
