How does my name sound in Chinese? And how difficult is it, really, to write Chinese characters? In this free hands-on workshop, people of all ages learn the basics of Chinese writing and put their first characters on paper.
Each participant can have their name written in Chinese characters by experts and take it home as a souvenir. The Confucius Institute at Freie Universität Berlin (KIFUB) is a non-profit organization that promotes knowledge of the Chinese language and culture abroad.
Note: Open continuously from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (limited space available). No advance registration required. Just drop by and join in!
