The universe of Berlin-based artist Mirna Bogdanović invites listeners into a distorted world shaped by jazz, avant-garde, and alternative pop. From her debut album “Confrontation” to her latest, critically acclaimed album “Awake”—produced by Chris Hyson (Snowpoet) and recorded with a top-tier lineup of musicians—she has continuously expanded her musical palette and vision.
With her quintet, she captures the energetic intensity and magic of improvisation as well as the profound, soulful storytelling. Exciting, powerful, and never predictable, Mirna Bogdanović creates music that leads straight into the 21st century.
The artist was awarded the German Jazz Prize for her two albums “Confrontation” (Debut Album of the Year 2021) and “Awake” (Album of the Year 2024).
