Art at Berlin´s most famous landmark
The East Side Gallery and the Parliament of Trees—at both locations, artists appropriated remnants of the Berlin Wall, painted them with their art, and thereby celebrated the fall of the Wall, while also commemorating the victims and the division of Berlin.
They have been preserved as monuments: the Parliament of Trees as a green oasis in the heart of the government district, and the East Side Gallery as a major attraction of the metropolis of Berlin.
At the East Side Gallery, people of all ages are invited to get creative themselves. Let yourself be inspired by the murals and the panorama along the Spree, create your own artwork together with artist Shay Govhary, and strike up a conversation with the guides.
