Early evening, when the other boats have long since moored
At half past six something happens on the Spree that few people witness. The excursion boats are gone. The city grows quieter - and along the banks the evening begins. It is precisely this moment when the FITZGERALD casts off. A motor yacht in the style of 1920s commuter yachts - mahogany, brass, leather. A maximum of 30 guests on board. No sooner have you taken your seat than the crew in uniforms brings you a glass of Crémant de Limoux Grand Cuvée. No announcements, no tour guides - just music chosen with care for this very moment.
75 minutes in which the light changes
The FITZGERALD glides across the Spree on a fully electric drive - whisper-quiet, vibration-free. You hear the lapping at the bow, the clink of glasses and songs that only unfold their full power in this silence. The route passes the most beautiful spots in the city - Berlin Cathedral, Museum Island, the City Palace, the Reichstag - but on this tour they are not sights. They are scenery. In the evening light they look different from during the day. More beautiful. More tranquil. Even if you have seen them a hundred times before.
The FITZGERALD is the most beautiful start to a special evening in Berlin. Or the most beautiful end to a long day. Either way: a gift to yourself - and an enrichment to the evening.
The yacht:
✔ Motor yacht with mahogany, brass & leather - fully electric, vibration-free, zero emissions
✔ Maximum 30 guests, crew in uniform, set tables, fresh flowers
✔ Four areas: sun deck, lounging areas at the bow, salon, covered aft deck
✔ 1 glass of Crémant included - further drinks available on board (card payment only)
The route during the blue hour:
✔ Government District at dusk - Reichstag and Chancellery as the lights come on
✔ Spree bend - where the city exhales and the evening begins
✔ Marschallbrücke - silent witness to division, today bathed in warm light
✔ Museum Island (UNESCO World Heritage) - more beautiful in the evening light than by day
✔ Berlin Cathedral - illuminated in gold, right on the water
✔ City Palace / Humboldt Forum - Berlin's new old centre
✔ Nikolaiviertel - Berlin's oldest quarter, when the lanterns glow
✔ The banks of the Spree - where the nightlife begins and people wave at the ship
