The Georgian ensemble MASPINDZELI will be performing three choral concerts in Berlin and Rheinsberg.

The singers take the audience on a melodious journey through Georgia: with traditional melodies, they offer a moving insight into the country’s unique polyphonic singing tradition.

Georgian polyphonic singing encompasses love songs, dance songs, work songs, hymns to nature, and church hymns. Their diversity and expressiveness make them unique worldwide.

MASPINDZELI was founded in 2011 in Samtredia (Western Georgia). The ensemble regularly performs at national and international festivals and captivates audiences with its wide stylistic range.
