As a member of Little Mix, Leigh-Anne won The X Factor UK in 2011, laying the foundation for a career that included three BRIT Awards, 19 top-10 singles, and five number-one hits on the UK Singles Chart. Even before the band went on hiatus in 2022, she made her acting debut in the film “Boxing Day” and began focusing on a solo singing career starting in 2023. Following the release of several singles that quickly garnered significant attention, her debut EP followed in 2024, establishing her as a solo artist. With her upcoming debut album “My Ego Told Me To,” the singer is once again taking her modern pop and R&B sound to a new level and is preparing herself and her fans for a European tour in the spring of 2026. As part of this tour, Leigh-Anne will perform at Berlin’s Frannz Club on April 17, 2026, where she can be seen live in an intimate atmosphere.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock grew up in the UK in a family with Barbadian and Jamaican roots. Even as a teenager, she was passionate about singing and joined a youth club and choir. She also began posting her first original songs on MySpace and Facebook at an early age and dreamed of becoming a singer. Together with Jade Amelia Thirlwall (aka JADE), Jessica Louise Nelson, and Perrie Louise Edwards (aka Perrie), Leigh-Anne eventually competed on the eighth season of The X Factor. After all four contestants were eliminated during boot camp, they were merged into the girl group Rhythmix for the remainder of the season and went on to win the competition. After the season, the band changed its name to Little Mix and became one of the most successful girl groups of the 2010s. The group released seven albums, all of which reached the Top 5 on the UK charts, were certified platinum multiple times, and have sold over 50 million copies. In 2022, the band disbanded, after which some of the members focused on their solo projects. Leigh-Anne debuted in June 2023 with her single “Don’t Say Love” and followed it up in September with the song “My Love” featuring Ayra Starr. In 2024, additional singles such as “Stealin’ Love” and “Forbidden Fruit” were released as precursors to her “No Hard Feelings” EP, which was released in June 2024 and enriched the singer’s pop sound with influences from Caribbean music. In 2025, she released the two singles “Been A Minute” and “Burning Up,” which, with influences from modern R&B, dance music, and reggaeton, foreshadow the sound of her debut album “My Ego Told Me To.”
