During a residency at the Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto, they designed a series of these small-scale buildings without any obvious intended function, but rather approached as possible architectural styles, and started working on this concept. Traditionally designed for decoration of landscaped parks, such “Folies” can serve as tools for characterizing metropolitan environments.
