The educational and cultural value of popular music is often publicly neglected in the face of so-called high culture. This Jour fixe event aims at bringing together the multiple levels on which popular music unfolds, as well as facilitating a dialogue of its different actors.
To pose urgent questions, to clarify standpoints, to open up new paths: The newly-established Jour fixe „Musik und Stadt“ of the Berlin Music Council debates Berlin's music scene in public. It connects experts, musicians and politicians. We are very glad that this third panel discussion will be hosted at the MW:M.
