at GalerieETAGE in Museum Reinickendorf
The exhibition From Dusk Till Dawn brings together four positions in painting:
- David Edward Allen
- Friederike Hunter
- Uschi Niehaus Indenbirken
- Niels Sievers
Allen's paintings deal with this nocturnal nature, from which man seems to be excluded and which, in its unruliness, lures all the more intensely.
Niehaus Indenbirken's abstract paintings in Prussian blue find a poetically set tone for the time sequence of transitions, into which she also weaves words and music.
The blue hour of Niels Sievers captures the city of night owls in a few elements, like ciphers, on the canvas.
With her paintings, Friederike Jäger transports viewers into fantastic worlds populated by humorous-melancholic hybrid beings.
