11 a.m._Picture book cinema
Are you familiar with the cheerful and thoughtful animals created by illustrator Bárður Oskarsson from the Faroe Islands? Translator Carsten Wilms from children's book publisher Kullerkupp will read "The Flat Rabbit," "Where's Waldo?" and other great stories for children and adults!

11 a.m._Workshop "Ø | Island": The mermaid in the sardine can – with Danish illustrator Anna Jacobina Jacobsen
Come along on a very special journey! Together with Danish artist Anna Jacobina Jacobsen, we will discover her beautiful picture book "Ø" (Island). In the story, a girl finds a little mermaid in a sardine can – yes, really! The two become friends. But what happens next? Come and find out! With crafts.

12:15 p.m._Picture book cinema + workshop "The Wolf is on the Loose"
Based on the award-winning Danish comic series "Valhalla," we take you into the world of Norse gods and myths and tell the story of the sacred tree Yggdrasil. We then teach you the runic alphabet and you can write your own name in runes.

1:30 p.m._Children's cinemaThe popular picture book characters from Stina Wirsén's "Wer" series are now grown up, have armpit hair and cell phones, wanderlust, or even children of their own, with whom we get to know a new generation of "Wer" characters. Stories about big emotions in everyday situations for the youngest viewers. German narration (32 min. / ages 0 and up)

1:30 p.m._Picture book cinema + crafts
We will listen to "The Incredible Story of the Giant Pear"—a modern Danish fairy tale by Danish illustrator Jakob Martin Strid—and show you the pictures as a "picture book cinema." Afterwards, you can set up your own giant pear—how could it look cozy there?
