With the artists Christina Paetsch and Stefan Fahrnländer. Moderation: AnnikaHirsekorn (Labor M).
Within the tour, the artists Christina Paetsch and Stefan Fahrnländer present their respective works in the exhibition "Habitats".
Christina Paetsch deals with processes of perception in our society in the field of tension between disgust and beauty, nature and artificiality. The current work in Schloss Biesdorf deals with captivity in fictitious habitats. An installation of large-format photographs such as "Cockatoo in a Cage" and "Stallion Parade" is paired, among other things, with a shower curtain behind which a Gugelhupf is on its last legs.
Stefan Fahrnländer's extensive tableau "Heimsuchung" (Visitation), consisting of drawings and a sculpture accompanying the drawings, deals with position marks in the shoreless and asks the question of what home is or could be and how it comes to loss, flight and displacement.
