From Fibers and Yarns to Scaffolds and Skins
Architectures of Weaving builds a bridge between architecture and textiles by examining fibre-based architectures on different scales from the micro-level of biological systems to the macro-level of textile and built constructions.
The book forms the starting point for an interdisciplinary discussion on the potentials of "textile thinking" for a new and more sustainable approach to materials.
