What happened in 1492? That's right, Columbus reached America!

But that year also marked something else: a decisive turning point for our native flora and fauna. From this point onwards, numerous plants and animals from distant lands came to us. Some have integrated well into our ecosystem, but others are spreading uncontrollably and displacing our native species - they are invasive.

Experience an exciting afternoon in nature, learn about the special features of the Hahneberg natural area and make a direct contribution to preserving biodiversity.

Together we will tackle the invasive species - for a healthy and species-rich environment!
