Filipp Jenikäes

The Sara Lily Perez Gallery presents Filipp Jenikäe's solo exhibition Figures in Motion and Places Remembered.

Global skylines, illuminated bar fronts and stadium crowds come together in Filipp Jenikäe's latest work. His large-scale paintings superimpose architecture, signage and collective movement into tightly structured urban scenes where spectacle and everyday life intersect.

The exhibition moves between Berlin, Tokyo and Bangkok, reflecting on how contemporary urban identity is shaped by image, repetition and shared space.

About the exhibition

In this new series, Jenikäe approaches the city as a constructed field rather than a fixed place. Street facades, transit lines, public leisure spaces and dense high-rise corridors unfold across multi-layered compositions that collapse distance and perspective.

Crowds are embedded within the architecture itself, suggesting that spectatorship has become an essential part of the experience of urban life.
The exhibition marks Jenikäe's first solo presentation with the gallery in Berlin.
