To mark International Women's Day, the Nordic Embassies are hosting a networking breakfast this coming Friday, 13 March.


This year, our breakfast discussion will focus on the topic of ‘Women and children in war – biographical approaches to conflict, flight and displacement’.

We are honoured to welcome Norwegian journalist and author Åsne Seierstad to the stage at the Nordic Embassies in Berlin. With an introduction by Dr. Silke Krohn from the Documentation Centre for Flight, Expulsion and Reconciliation.

8.50: Talk and Q&A with Åsne Seierstad

Moderation: Else Kveinen, Counsellor for Press and Culture at the Royal Norwegian Embassy.

9.45: Breakfast and Networking

Breakfast takes place on the first floor of the Felleshus, giving you the opportunity to see the current exhibition “Arctic Heroes – Verborgene Geschichten” with photos by Icelandic photographer Ragnar Axelsson.
