Additional information
Trilogy I: i ... livin' space
Who am I?
In the first part of the trilogy, Andreas Pichler and Julie Peters devote themselves to a dance and musical exploration of different habitats such as forests, water, and cities, in which we as humans move and which shape us. Who am I? The rustling of leaves? Water droplets? A subway? Who has ever been to the sea, and what does life underwater sound like? Am I also nature? Together we search for the I.
Trilogy II: u ... sci fi
Who are YOU?
The second part of the trilogy deals with the question of the other: Who are YOU in all this growth, in a life full of artificial intelligence and virtual worlds? Sometimes YOU are really alien to me! Using analog and electronic sound materials as well as their own movement language, which collages dance elements and other influences, the two performers create an extensive sound spectrum and invite their audience to search for YOU in unknown galaxies.
Trilogy III: us/wir/nous
Who are WE?
The final part of the trilogy is an interactive performance dedicated to the theme of connectedness and our diverse relationships. Who are WE? Who or what determines who WE are and what connects us? The dancer and the musician play together, with each other, and sometimes alone. They spin a thread through the space and together create an atmosphere that invites the audience onto the stage. They encounter each other through rhythm and movement, giving rise to new images of our interpersonal relationships.
