Spring fever & reopening after the winter break

After a glittering New Year's Eve party, the floors on various areas of the roof were torn up and replaced, many repairs were made, new features were built and everything was tidied up and spruced up – ready for spring and the next season of roof culture above the city's rooftops.

For over 13 years, Klunkerkranich has stood for diverse and eclectic Berlin club culture in the heart of Neukölln, with a view over the whole of Berlin.

The big opening party will take place on Friday, 6 March, bringing together close friends and residents of the Neukölln club on stage and on the dance floors under the motto GIDDY ON UP!

On Saturday, 7 March, the FEMQUENCY collective will take over the roof of the Klunkerkranich, fittingly coinciding with the weekend of Feminist Day of Struggle. In addition to a DJ workshop for FLINTA* by Ella Stracciatella and Hanna Peony, there will be a panel discussion on the topic of ‘Safer Spaces in Clubs’ at 8 p.m. in the *Club ‘Hinter den Alpen’. FLINTA* DJs from the Femquency cosmos will be on the decks, including Sinamin, Lamara and many more.

A queer cabaret in a class of its own with live piano and wonderful extravagance.

A musical celebration of International Women's Day! Nancy Nutter & Eve Beucher have been active on the Berlin scene for many years and most recently graced the big stage of the Volksbühne with a show on New Year's Eve. On the decks with a vinyl-only set: Berlin DJ Nzambisa, creator of the Masolo podcast, which discusses black perspectives on pop and world culture.
After the opening weekend, Klunkerkranich will be open from Thursday to Sunday, starting at 4 p.m. each day, with live concerts, club nights, stage shows and much more.
