‘Thousand and One Nights’ is a play that reinterprets the spirit of ‘1001 Nights’ folktales through a contemporary lens. Blending Theatre, music and visual storytelling to explore loneliness, intimacy, and the transformative power of art.

Set in a modern city of empty nights, Shah—a young man shattered by a breakup—retreats into emotionally disconnected encounters. One evening, he meets Shahrzad, a captivating storyteller whose tales unfold into surreal, musical fairytales.

Drawing on the narrative spirit of the original ‘1001 Nights’, this adaptation is a poetic reflection on the power of storytelling in the contemporary  age.
