Dr. Florian Wilkes, born in Dortmund and raised in Schwerte on the Ruhr, received a permanent position at the Protestant St. Paul's Church at the age of 16 – despite his Catholic faith. After studying at Bamberg Cathedral and the Berlin University of the Arts (HdK Berlin), he has served as Second Organist at St. Hedwig's Cathedral in Berlin on Unter den Linden for the past three decades.
Admission is free; donations for church music in the parish are welcome.
