Works by Ana María Caballero and Nicole L’Huillier
Commissioned by the Landesverband Berliner Galerien (LVBG) and curated by Clara Meister, this exhibition featuring works by Ana María Caballero and Nicole L’Huillier explores the interactions between artificial intelligence, language, and artistic practice.
Based on the motif of the “seed,” the exhibition space unfolds as a garden of possible meanings—a resonance chamber in which human and machine forms of interpretation meet.
Nicole L'Huillier explores poetic processes as human-machine collaboration in her installation sound work “Cuchicheos”: Membrane-like loudspeakers translate Gabriela Mistral's poem into a polyphonic whisper between algorithm and resonance.
In “Being Borges,” Ana María Caballero reinterprets Jorge Luis Borges' “The Book of Imaginary Beings” through AI-generated images and combines them with her own poems. Her work reflects on translation, intertextuality, and the cultural influences of algorithmic systems.
The exhibition is part of an overall project by the LVBG and forms the artistic framework for the conference “AI + Art (Market)” on February 23, 2026, at the Maschinenraum in Berlin.
Opening: Friday, February 13, 2026, 6:30 p.m.
