Goodbye winter, hello spring! At the traditional spring festival, we celebrate the start of the season in the open-air museum with parades and music.

Spring is here - the Düppel Museum Village is opening its doors again. Join them as we parade through the woods and meadows to chase away the cold season for good! The highlight is the burning of homemade straw dolls, which symbolize winter according to ancient tradition. The group "Wolgemut" provides musical accompaniment for the processions.

And even more awaits you: the fairytale witch Silberzweig and the juggler Astor Ytellar set up their tents in the museum village. They tell stories about the Brandenburg tradition of winter fairy tales to young and old alike. Fresh flatbread, roasted by the fire, is also served.

  • Start of the processions: 11.30 am + 2 pm + 4 pm
  • Meeting point: village square
