From the festive polychoral works of Giovanni Gabrieli to the baroque sonorities of Johann Sebastian Bach, the music resounds, celebrating the Pentecost festival with jubilation.
Contemporary works by Wolfram Buchenberg, Ivo Antognini, Becky McGlade, and Alice Parker open up new realms of expression, sometimes meditative, sometimes rhythmically pulsating, celebrating the power of the spirit. A blazing diversity of styles and timbres creates varied listening experiences that aim to touch both mind and heart.
