How will we shape our future in 2050?

Welcome to the year 2050: Your refrigerator knows your blood test results, your care robot your favorite jokes – and AI helps determine how autonomously we age. Sounds convenient. But who sets these rules? Become a member of a citizens' assembly and make decisions for the future of aging!

In this interactive workshop, you'll explore what aging might look like in a digitized society: Which tasks will machines take over? Where is human judgment necessary? And how can we prevent algorithms from perpetuating past prejudices into the future? Using improvisational methods, strategic debates, and speculative prototypes, you'll design possible futures of aging, balancing care, freedom, and control.

Together with Justine Walter (Speculative Futures Leipzig) and Lilith Boettcher (Futures Probes), you'll also discover which decisions we can make today to ensure a dignified, just, and fulfilling life for aging people in the future.

*A parallel workshop on the same topic will take place in Taiwan in cooperation with Speculative Futures Taipei.
